The Scent Room is an olfactory dispositive, faceted by virtual reality. Wearing a VR helmet, customers chose one of seven scent stones — each representing a different scent universe. A way to explore their ideal fragrance through their favorite atmosphere, and discover the range of luxury fragrances from Coty: Burberry, Chloé and Gucci.
A luxurious custom headset has been created, enabling a seamless transition from reality to augmented reality, then to virtual reality. As such, the user doesn’t need to remove their helmet to grab another stone, and enjoys an experience with absolutely no break in immersion.
As a world premiere in mixed reality, this innovative multi-sensory experience was tested in New York, then deployed in Buenos Aires.
